Radu Uszkai, researcher at the Research Centre in Applied Ethics (CCEA), delivered a keynote speech on 3rd of September 2025 at the international conference “Predau Viitor 2025 Digital Festival.”
His presentation, titled “De ce avem nevoie de gândire critică în tehnologie și democrație” (Why we need critical thinking in technology and democracy), addressed a fundamental theme for the future of education: the importance of cultivating intellectual and moral virtues in the context of transformations generated by technology and new modern educational strategies.
Radu Uszkai highlighted the essential role of critical thinking as a tool for defending democracy and as a mechanism for ethical navigation in the face of technological challenges.
