Constantin Vică Discusses AI, Ethics, and Education on Digital Literacy Podcast

Constantin Vică, philosopher, researcher, and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Bucharest, where he also serves as Vice-Rector (Prorector), participated on the 24th of September 2025 in a key episode of a digital literacy podcast series with Julia Nagy.

In this episode, Constantin Vică discusses the role of AI in education, analysing how its use is changing learning processes and how students and educators can employ it ethically and responsibly.

The conversation aims to encourage listeners to sift through narratives, consider pertinent opinions, and train their curiosity and critical thinking to make better decisions and avoid manipulation.

This episode is part of Season 4 of the podcast, which is supported by the BROD Project (Bulgarian-Romanian Observatory of Digital Media, funded by the EU’s Digital Europe Programme) and the project “Digital literacy transformation for Romanian Youth” (funded by Fondation Botnar and coordinated by CJI in partnership with Ashoka România, E-Civis, EDUMI, Funky Citizens, and Grupul PONT). Both projects fall under the Media Education Program initiated by the Center for Independent Journalism (CJI) in partnership with the Romanian American Foundation.
